Awkwafina
American musician and actor Awkwafina began her career with hilarious rap tracks that tackled sexuality and racial identities with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to expanding her repertoire to Hollywood. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens her first musical experience came in the form of the trumpet. The classical, jazz, and hip-hop lessons began when she was a teenager. At college, she concentrated on her studies, majoring in women's journalism and the arts. For a brief period that was spent in Beijing and she also took classes in Mandarin. She didn't start focusing on music until the time she graduated. Following her viral success on the Internet the My Vag song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually made its way onto the album she released, Yellow Ranger. Other hits on the internet that were viral include Queef track, and the witty NYC Bitchecity tour. This latter song was directly connected to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. As a musician and an author on her resume she determined to pursue a third endeavor actor. Her film credits include films like Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed several major roles like Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. Her debut EP, in Fina We Trust in June in the same year.
